All our services are free and confidential.

It’s possible to work on several objectives during individual sessions at CAVAS, for example:

  • Breaking the silence surrounding sexual violence;
  • Understanding reactions better and normalizing them;
  • Facilitating the understanding and expression of emotions;
  • Freeing oneself from responsibility for sexual violence that has been experienced;
  • Reducing stress/anxiety;
  • Developing new skills;
  • Gradually regaining control over one’s own life;
  • Developing healthy, positive relationships with oneself and others;
  • Improving self-esteem and assertiveness;
  • Etc.

Meetings can be face-to-face (at our office in Saint-Hyacinthe) or take place by videoconference or by phone.

We can rent a suitable meeting room for people with reduced mobility who would like to meet with us in person.
For young people or adults attending school, it may be possible for the counsellor to visit the school, depending on the school.

Please contact us for further information.
