(commemoration of the Polytechnique massacre)
March 8th

Committed to social change
Protecting victims’ rights takes place on several levels: individually, socially and politically. CAVAS engages in various initiatives and advocacy, such as letter writing, petition signing, participation in demonstrations, as well as academic research and various conferences and symposiums, to promote issues of change and social justice.
Consultation and representation
CAVAS prioritizes networking and strengthening partnerships with local community organizations and with specialized resources in the field of sexual violence in our region. To achieve this goal, we actively participate in various roundtable discussions and provide numerous representations. During these activities, CAVAS advocates for the uniqueness of independent community organizations and for their fair financial recognition.
